Air Jordan Shoes

Air Jordan Shoes – what’s the story? Originally released way back in the mid 1980′s as a Nike Basketball Shoe, they’ve certainly come a long way since then, transcending the sports shoe industry and even the sport of basketball itself. The rise, rise and further rise of Air Jordan shoes is a story and a half!

In the wilderness years, the years pre Air Jordan Shoes basketball shoes were predominantly white, in fact, the NBA were so pi**ed at Michael Jordan for wearing his classic black and red colorway shoe that they fined him. Little did they know that history was in the making . . . a star was being born . . . a star in its own shoe closet. Michael Jordan went on to wear the Air Jordan 1 Red, White and Black sports shoe in 1986, when he scored a playoff high of 63 points against the Boston Celtics.

As each new Air Jordan model was released, the brand continued to grow . . . every year was something new, something special. Michael Jordan collaborated with some very special and unique designers over the years, Tinker Hatfield probably being the most famous of them all who helped in the design of many Air Jordan Shoes including the Air Jordan 3 (III) right through to Air Jordan 15 (XV), the Air Jordan 23 (XXIII) which was rumoured to be the final number of the famous Air Jordan range, as well as the 2010 (XXV).

Wow, some people just love Air Jordan Shoes and buy them all!!

Air Jordan Shoes – The New Era of Fusions

Once word got around that Air Jordan 23 (XXIII) was the last of the numbered breed, then quite naturally the fanatics began to wonder what was next in line. They were not left waiting for long, Brand Jordan (or Jordan Brand) was as creative as ever and began releasing fusion models of Air Jordan Shoes. They started off by simply mixing components from the classics Air Jordan with components from other timeless models like Nike Force 1, and after having lots of success with that idea, they took it one step further and fused together elements from the many different Air Jordan models.

The success of Air Jordan Shoes has been nothing short of phenomenal, and whilst the company continue to keep their old fans happy there seems to be a never ending supply of new customers joining in. The formula of success for Air Jordan Shoes has never been matched, never mind surpassed, with their combination of Team Jordans, hybrids and the classic colorways which began the Air Jordan numbered series, this Air Jordan Shoe story seems to just keep going on . . . happily ever after.

You know what, every time I run through this I have a different favorite . . . I guess that’s the appeal of Air Jordan Shoes and why the brand has been so successful. Today I’m torn between Air Jordan III and Air Jordan XX2 . . . I just can’t make up my mind – decisions, decisions.
